Increasing Entrepreneurial Skills
Starting a restaurant is one of the last areas of free enterprise still available to those of modest means. Many of the skills required to open and successfully manage a restaurant are skills required in other businesses as well. Communication, leadership, and teamwork are all important factors in effectively starting and managing a business; and all of these characteristics are ones that can be productively taught through the use of cooking and food. Being able to lead a team to create a tasty and nutritious meal may be representative of a person that is able to lead and manage a team of employees to successfully run a profitable business.
